General Information for Parking Tags (Grades 10, 11, 12)

Tag types: General ($10) or Preferred ($20)

Vehicle information needs to be entered online for both tag types.

Jefferson High School has just under 400 parking spots available for students. We typically have more requests for parking permits than spots. Students in grades 10 through 12 are eligible to receive a parking permit (NO FRESHMEN are eligible until after Thanksgiving break).

Having a parking permit does not guarantee a parking spot. First come, first served.

There are a limited number of reserved spots available per year for students that meet the preferred parking requirements (see below). Spots are also reserved for staff, and parking in a staff spot will result in a ticket and being asked to move your vehicle.

The PREFERRED tag is a continued option for students. The lot next to the tennis courts is the ONLY preferred parking area. These spots will be offered based on a timed system and at a cost of $20 instead of the basic fee of $10. These spots will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis — provided the student meets all of the requirements.
